Unlonely Planet by Billy Curry

Fifteen years have passed since Unlonely Planet was launched. The book launch was held at the German Club Tivoli in the Melbourne suburb of Windsor.

Mike Jennings MC’d the event and entertained the audience reading chapter one out loud. The content raised a few laughs and eyebrows. David L’Hillier sang a song dedicated to the book’s title – cleaver man. There were no official photos taken of the event even though 110 people attended. The ticket allocation for the door prize helped with the head-count. If anyone has a photo please get in touch.  Otherwise the event was a social success.

The first, and later, the second edition, of the book completely sold out. This suggests that the value of the book has increased, particularly the first edition. More on that another time.

Ebook versions of the 90,000 word story are available at Apple Books, Amazon Kindle and Kobo.com You can find the links below.

The cover for the book took a little while to decide upon. Here are a couple options that were shortlisted, but failed to take the top position. There were some other versions that Billy and his cousin Mick Moore played with – I don’t think they are ready for the internet yet 😉

What do you think? Did we pick the right one?

Can you pick the two locations? One isn’t that hard, the other is.
